We often design our GROOVER eyewear with a “near future ” motif that the world in 1960s envisioned. AVALON was designed featuring the “retrofuture” and paradise in a myth.
The interesting thing about this item is that we value the form and cutting- being fully aware that it is finished with a style like dissonance. Hand shaping and polishing techniques employed by the craftsmen at GYARD brought this a sense of incongruity, but also harmony at the same time.
